About me

I was born in a family with an older brother and a younger sister, so I can say that I learned to mediate since I can remember. At sixteen, I started selling in the family business, so responsibility, as well as customer orientation and excellence, are part of my biography.

At the age of eighteen, I began my studies in psychology, gradually falling in love with social psychology and later with organizational psychology. It lead me to study several master’s degrees and a doctorate, as well as becoming an internationally distinguished academic for two decades. I have always been committed to human and organizational development from a systemic and humanist approach (Currently, I am a Visiting Professor at King´s College London, London, UK).

At the age of twenty, I began to solo-travel and broaden my understanding of the internal and external world (India, Tibet, Cambodia, etc.), and I have never abandoned this practice, developing flexibility, courage, resilience, and the ability to improvise, among other human strengths.

Also at that age, I started in the corporate world (BBVA), always emphasizing my interest in the well-being of people, teams and organizations, especially from the training, mentoring and supervision side.

At the age of twenty-three, I began my relationship with international volunteering, working in situations of crisis, scarcity and danger (with children, abused women, injured animals, etc.) in countries such as Botswana, Nepal, Japan, Tanzania, etc., allowing me to prioritize and make decisions in real time and with little information.

At the age of twenty-six, I started in the Leadership, Organisational and Management consulting business, both in Spain and in Latin America (Costa Rica, Panamá, Chile, Colombia, México, etc.), loving the impact and resonance that this work generates in people, teams and organizations. A year later, I published my first book (to date, I have published 4 books and more than 100 scientific publications).

At the age of thirty-three, I trained as a coach to honor and professionalize a practice that I had been practicing without being fully aware of it.

Since then and to date, I have coached, trained and consulted for more than 5,000 professionals from hundreds of organizations of all sizes and sectors from all over the world (Singapore, Philippines, The Netherlands, Luxemburg, Morocco, Canada, etc.). With great gratitude, the systemic approach has become my great passion and fulfillment, my way of serving the world, my daughter Gaia, my son Kai and myself.
